Who am I?

I am Wesley Singer, a young Filmmaker and Photographer in upstate New York. I love working with cameras, specifically videography. But I also love photography. I have been creating media since I was 11 years old. And my Junior and Senior years in High School, I attended half a day at HFM Career & Tech to learn Photography and Filmmaking. 

My Timeline

In 2021 I created a YouTube Channel in which started my career in videography, gaining my reputation throughout my school as a videographer. On my YouTube Channel, I started to create short films with my neighbors and friends. When I was a Sophomore in High School (2023), I decided to start taking digital media more seriously, I started to make sports videos and filmed one of my HS Drama Club's Performances. In the beginning of 2024, dreadful news hit. The singular teacher that got me into media in the first place, had passed away. Then later that year, my Junior year, I got the opportunity to take classes at HFM BOCES for Digital Multimedia Communications, where I could learn videography and photography. That is when I then founded wSinger Media, my own brand. I then started taking peoples senior photos and making sports highlights for people. In the fall of 2024, I created my very first documentary, which was on the making of Johnstown Drama Club's 2024 Fall Production. I continued to grow my skills by taking on small jobs here and there. I made sports content for other people's social medias. Volunteered at church retreats, operating the sound board for live music. 

And here we are in present day.
